Cedar Rapids, Iowa | In a lot of cases, the combine swerving to the left would put the left side of the header into the cart tire. With proportional valves, this can happen in less than a second.
What happens when the combine's receiver and the tractor's receiver are using different solutions, or maybe they're both on RTK but using different towers. If the positions don't mesh, and lets say the cart tractor is 5 feet further towards the combine than it should be, things collide. Maybe the diagnostic logs will explain what happened, but who gets to buy a new header and cart tire. The liability on this is an ugly legal matter. | |
