1. Surface water Pro will take the elevtation data that is retrieved from another operation (i.e. harvest, planting) and provide information as to where the most effective place is to create a ditch or levee.

2. SWP+ takes it to the next level and provides a vertical accuracy bar to your screen to help in the creation of these ditches. You are able to AutoTrac the ditch track that it helped you create and you simply watch the screen and feather the hydraulics appropriatly to stay on grade.

3. If you add iGrade to the package it will automatically adjust the tractor SCVs to keep on the appropriate grade. It works extremely well, however, iGrade can be run standalone, that is without a SWP or SWP+ activation. iGrade has its own menu within the GS2/GS3 and if you choose to run just iGrade, you give it a reference point, enter the desired grade and it keeps your scraper on grade as you travel through the field.

What you lose running just iGrade without SWP is the recommendations of where ditches would be ideally placed to remove the most amount of water while moving the least amount of soil. SWP will show you areas that collect water after different amounts of rainfall. It will allow you to map them out ahead of time so you can predict things like the amount of soil to be moved, the size of equipment that will suit your project, and how many manhours are needed to complete the project.

Brackets and Harnessing to outfit scraper $835
Surface Water Pro Activation $3000
Surface Water Pro Plus Activation $5500
iGrade Controller $4000

For right around 10K you would have a completely automated system along with the mapping and planning abilities of SWP+, and all the necessary brackets and harnessing.
