I think something similar was discusssed, but I don't have time this morning to search for it. I would suspect this is OK because it is nylon tubing being sold for compressed air use. Instead of shattering it probably just splits. I imagine it is a lot easier to run. One thing to watch if you install it behind walls is mark or protect it in place you might be driving nails or hanging something. I wonder how mice like it? We had plastic tubing on an irrigator that mice ... or some rodent anyway ... chewed in two. Oh, one other question before I run. Is the heat from compressing the air a problem? I've noticed especially if we are using a lot of air the first few feet of pipe from the compressor and tank (our compressor is mounted separately a couple feet from the tanks) gets pretty warm. |
