S.E. Sask. | Most of the time I'm working by myself and if I'm 5 miles from home you can bet I will have my lunch with me. No way I'm going to unhitch the tractor and drive all the way home for dinner. Sometimes I'll eat on the go but if theres no rush, I'll park in the shade, shut the tractor down and eat my sandwiches while listening to the radio or just the sounds of nature.
If I'm working near the yard I might stop for dinner depending on how busy the day is. But if I"m trying to make time, I'll just carry lunch to eat on the go.
Supper time is flexible. If I work til dark in the summer time that might mean supper at 10 or 11 o'clock. I know that doesn't work for some to eat late in the evening but I can have a late meal and fall asleep for the whole night with no problems. Just lucky I guess. | |
