Elizabethtown,KY | When my dad was still farming with me mom always cooked dinner for us and you'd better be at the house at 12:00 noon sharp to eat it! We always took an hour from the time we quit til we got back to the field. For the last several years I've been a one man show and my wife will either bring me something during planting and harvest or I'll hit Mickey D's or a local convenience store for a sandwich, drink and chips. I like to take time for dinner, but if you are 9 miles from home too much time gets wasted. | |
