Traction models have been around for a long time, and they basically answer your question IF you spend a little time with a spreadsheet.
The URL below is a good recent paper by Grisso, Zoz, etal that contains coefficients for bias and radial tires, as well as tracks.
In my opinion, representing the soil with only a cone index value is the largest weakness of most traction models. However, soil is so hopelessly complex that most of us just accept this approach
