Subject: RE: Case IH MXU and MXM question

SE Michigan
Just bought a MXU 110 MFD this fall (800 hrs) and I have put around 50 hours on it. Love the tractor, lots of power, quiet to operate and very user friendly. The MXU is a New Holland tractor paited red (same as a TS110A). My only di-likes are the 3pt controls, I perfer a lever, not (7) total control switches / dials ect (not kidding....7)

My 85 yr old father used it allot for hauling wagons 1-4 miles to the Co-Op, It had to go back to the dealer one day to get the 3pt working (rock shaft rusted from sitting too long after wash from previous owner) so he had to use my 1976 IH 986. Needless to say he could not wait to get the MXU back.

Other high lights are the cab, very good visability, 16 spd trans shifts nice, and easy to get in and out of.

My local CIH dealer service guys told me that the Factory service guys told him that the MXU's were allot better tractor then the MXM's..........
