Texas/New Mexico Stateline
I heard a well respected market commentator mention once when prices are high, don't mess around trying new things. Do what you know, and do the best you can at that. I have been thinking about that a lot this winter.

We are in very very different areas, but I have been dealing with the same thing. We have about a 25% chance of making a good wheat crop, about 50% chance making a mediocre crop, and about a 25% chance of making a 0. That is based on our history. I have about a 50% chance of making more $$$ harvesting the crop grazing it off with calves. What to do???
