Central Iowa | Thanks for the pics. The even closing discs make sense especially with the newer row units with the even placed guage wheels. The poly looks like a good idea also, eliminates the use of the graphite which quickly wears off anyway. I couldn't quite tell from the pictures, are seed manifold and brush holder shield on top of the poly or did you cut around them?
With your 12 row mounted did you see more erratic seed spacing on the outside rows because of the longer tubes? My 12 row is a pull type with modules spread out and I haven't seen any difference.
