Well my feeling is that people who do that kind of thing to their bodies desperately crave attention. This is the only way they can get the attention they crave. Some of them also do it so that if they are denied or left out of something they can scream discrimination. Most of these weirdos give little thought to what is going to happen next week let alone 50 or 60 years from now.
