I wouldn't buy the Reichhardt controller with the Deere controller already available. For starters I think the Deere kit is less than $2000 and the Reichhardt is more like $5000. The big downfall of the Reichhardt is that they can only store 10 A/B lines so if you use headings for all 4 sides of the fields like we do you're going to be constantly looking them up in the GS2 guidance and then entering them on the Reichhardt side. Reichhardt has a good idea, they just need to take it to the next level and somehow take the output from the GS2 guidance pages and steer the tractor that way. |
