I get your point on the damage the farmers have to face from the poachers.  Can't imagine someone tearing across fenced pasture land in a truck "hunting" deer. We don't have much range land here in Michigan. Poachers here can lose anything they used in the act of poaching - including vehicles and guns - that seems to help. 

I really would love to see Kansas sometime - my oldest son and a friend want to go one year bow hunting.

Are the stories I've heard of people crossing the border into Kansas and not finding there way out for years - true - some kind of black hole or something;)?
