NorthCentral Illinois
From my experience when the planter is in the ground it will lock itself into those strips and stay their. The dirt in the strips is more mellow so the planter follows the path of least resistance. Running the Dawn Pluribus units for last 2 years and before that a DMI 5310 with mole knives. The planter tracked the same in both systems. Demo the Deere IGuide this spring it helped keep the lap rows consistent but the expense of owning another receiver and RTK lease kept me from purchasing the IGuide.
