swmn/soin | Have had experience with car they wanted to total. They are going to try to low-ball you. In my dealings with the insurance company, I just refused to sign off on it. It took awhile but they eventually did come up to my asking price. The insurance companies do not like claims more than 90 days old.....unless its a state law...not sure of that. Once we came to an agreement on price...things went smoothly. They will continue to call and up their bids, but you can tell them to fix it or pay your asking price, providing it is based on replacing a vehicle like you had with all the options.
