Carroll,NE | I hear ya shoptek. I put up a new 100 mile antenna in June or July,bought from Menards and put a booster on as well. Got a lot of stations, Iowa stations Omaha stations, Lincoln , even Kansas City. Then it went to he double toothpicks. The only thing I could get was 9 kout of Sioux City and NE public tv. We live across the section from the tower. I went and bought new cable, rotor, new antenna again. Then I went to Lincoln to the farm show and a guy from Missouri was selling these high powered long distance antenna. I bought one and now have all the Iowa stations back. I have my antenna 150 feet from the house, but might move it back to the house and shorten the cable. Over on the machinery side someone else bought one and installed it in his attic and he said it is staying there. Maybe I move mine upstairs in the spare room and see if it works there. | |
