southern MN | The thing is held up like an inner tube. It's basicly a tent instead of posts it uses air pressure to keep it up.
This is the 5th time it's gone down since early 80's.
As mentioned, they were using water to flush off the snow. I will guess they got more water up there than they realized, in the sub zero weather.
Two pannels of the faberic ripped.
They will need to get the weight out of the middle now, patch the 2 pannels, and inflate it again. That is a tall order to get done on a Sunday, with much of the state still shut down, in below zero temps.
'Totally collapsed' might be accurate, but this does not apply as it would to a 'real' building. It is just a high-tech tent. Patch it & blow it up again, good to go.
