 Gettysburg, PA | My guess on how that worked - Most wetland activities are regulated via permit except plowing or tilling. The process of "grubbing" the trees does not fall into that categry and you would have to apply for a permit from the Army Corps of Engineers for your proposed wetland disturbance. So, in essence, you weren't prevented from farming it, you were prevented from grubbing the trees and stumps out without permission. The end result was the same I guess, but, there is a distinct difference. | |
