West Tennessee | Have two daughters 15 and 18 so feel somewhat qualified to tell you what we'd do. Sorry didn't understand what your wife's thoughts were on the 16yr old. That would be my first thought. Is leaving her home by herself an option for you? We have family close by and "might" consider that (5% chance). Most likely for us is we'd make her go and explain (I would handle this part) that she was NOT to make this a miserable deal. With ours by the time we were on the way to the airport the long face and whatnot would be gone and it would all be good from that point on. Have to press through the tough part so to speak. Just did this on a family outing to Memphis last Friday night by the way. Everyone had a good time and worked out great. Everyone's demeanor and tolerance levels are different so good luck on what you decide to do. Very good idea to take a few days away. | |
