Thud - 12/7/2010 16:01 Two questions.. is it 1.1 Billion x 100bills, or is that the total value of the bills? Second question is what was the actual cost of printing the bills, in my mind that's the real cost of this screwup, I suspect that number is probably an order of magnitude less then 1.1 Billion dollars.

It is 1.1 billion - $100 dollar bills. The article I linked to explained it a bit.

The actural cost was $120 some million to produce all those bills . . .as stated in the link
