Secret to warm feet is to have a wool sock, Merino is the best, it keeps the moisture away from your feet so they stay warm, and even wear a liner with the wools socks, can get at any sporting good store, Scheels, Cabelas, etc. Cotton socks absorb the moisture and stay wet and you will have cold feet no matter what kind of boot you have. I prefer Danner boots for hunting can get different gram of insulation up to 1200 gram, I wear Sorels for snowmobileing and Merino wool sock and liners, have yet to have cold feet. Terry
