Midwest | If your wanting to lay low, I would cross at Hannibal, go up the interstate to Quincy, exit on hwy 104 (its 4 lane till you get past the JD dealer) take it east till you get past the airport, there will be a blacktop about 2 miles east of the airport. Turn left/ north towards Coatsburg, (good road) take it north appx7-8 miles till you hit hwy 24. turn east and stay on 24 till Peoria. Macomb and Pittsfield are both headquarters to the State police, so this way you would be on the outter edges of each district.
Do NOT cross at Quincy, there is a steep hill with a stop light when you cross the bridge and get into town. At that point, you have the whole town to get through, very busy. | |
