central - east central Minnesota - | Armstrong Grove - 12/6/2010 17:45 We are in the process of Farm House Remodeling, and put all the old window glass in a barrel as we tore out all the old windows and frames. Does any one know if there is a collection site that uses this type of glass ? I am near the Ia/Minn border so Im hoping to find somewhere we can take it between TwinCities and DesMoines when we are going to visit family. Ive tried to Google this and just end up with a deadend bunch of sites. I was told once that a place near Shakopee would take Window glass to make Landscape Blocks ? Thanks If you have family in the twincity metro area(Mpls), they most likely have recycling - they should be able to set it out by the street for you. Recycling in the metro area take, glass, metal, paper and plastic. . . . that would be about the least amount of effort?
