Southeast Minnesota | Just so you know - LEDs are LCD TVs The difference is in the light behind the panal. A regular LCD uses florescent light and LCD turns the pixels on and off. A LED TV uses LEDs (light emmiting diodes) to give the light and the LCD (liquid crystal display) still turns the visible pixels on and off LIKE SHUTTERS ON A WINDOW. A Plasma TV actually fires the pixel and actually turns the pixel on and off. | |
