| I also work alone and it could be days before anyone noticed I was AWOL. I try to keep the phone in my pocket. Don't often have it turned on but I have recently since this Alltel phone will be obsolete come January.
I'd still be in trouble if the phone didn't work where I was at and I was not mobile enough to get to a place where the phone did work. The coverage is pretty good now as long as I get on a hill anywhere on my place. Not so good down in draws or in the yard.
Last winter I got the tractor stuck a couple times and called neighbors for help. The phone worked in the tractor cab from one place. Had to walk up on a hill the other time but still beat walking back to the house. | |
