NE LA. across from the fiberglass Charolais bull | We just started an emergency fund at the local police station after a couple of incidents. A down-on-her-luck looking woman showed up during the service a few Sunday's ago. We helped her with a little money and later found out her son was at the Baptist church with a different story. It's unfortunate, but now we'll just give them a cup of coffee and a couple of cookies and a ride up to the Police station and the Chief can dispense a few dollars. If they try to weasel out on the offer we'll know it's a scam. |
