Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | Years ago I heard a little scanner chatter from a train driver to to a local patrolman, to someone at state radio.
It seems the train was coming up on a country crossing and a fuel truck was parked on the tracks. The train did an emergency stop as the fuel truck driver jumped in his rig and took off.
They did not hit him, but the railroad guy was real upset, said they had a bunch of flat spotted wheels and such, wanting the cops to try to find the truck and driver real bad.
