Kansas | Where and when did this happen? As said, nothing the crew can do about these things. Years ago an engineer I knew (he's died since) was driving train at night that decapitated a guy who fell drunk on the tracks (he actually landed with his neck right on the rail), I'm sure he felt sick about it, but even in daylight I don't know if he could have stopped in time, accidents happen but I susupect most train accidents like these are caused by stupidity or just not paying attention (or are they the same thing?). | |
