I'll bet most of passengers are PO'd. Stuck for hours while the police and railroad folks do their investigation and maybe get a different engine and engineer. My wife and I were on a Amtrak train that some idiot turned in front of and that ruined our and a lot of other folks schedules that day. But I am sure the car driver had more than a bad day.
OUCH!!! Bet the Train Driver needed new shorts!
