| Last time I was at the Des Moines Power Show there were tables/booths in every hall way except the basement tunnel between buildings. It was wall to wall boths, and farmers. Standing room only in the soybean forum, but Kip didn't show.
Last winter I went to Cedar Falls. It was a liesurely two hours, any vendor I wanted to talk to I had very little wait and very little push to move on because there was no line.
Either show you probably can make sales, but those at Cedar Falls will be far more personal because of the lack of crowding. It all fit on the gymnasium floor, the Des Moines Power show fills the floor of the old Vets Auditorium, its basement, HyVee hall and the fancy Well Fargo gymnasium, and most of the hallways. Probably 10 times the vendors so there's real competition and 100 times the farmer traffic.
