Well, after our old dog passed away, we really needed a replacement. Well, we found some Border Collies locally that are nearly 100% from some pretty unique Australian bloodlines. He's around 8 months old now, and really wants to work. Finally getting a decent "Down" command and "Stay command" in him. Had a fat heifer out today, and he came around and really did a decent job. Did what I told him, "Come", "Down", "Stay", just basic stuff, but there sure is a lot of pleasure in working with a sharp young dog. Oh, and it sure is amazing how much difference there is between working an Aussie or ACD and a Border Collie.
