This is an example of how valuable experience is in life.  When you successfully build a business yourself you learn a lot from the mistakes you make.  You learn to make decisions driven by profit and need instead of ego.  You learn self discipline when handling money.  You learn who to listen to and who not to listen to.  

Coming into a boatload of money without the experience of working in a business to earn it puts a person at a huge disadvantage about knowing how to manage it.
