I think that by running knife rolls and keeping the head on the ground we could get by without chopping. If we had to on the amount of corn stalks I want to do, could probably just run the Supercoulter ahead of it.

Looked at one of those coulter chisels but didn't like the price or giving up a bunch of width. Another thing I don't like about the Summers chisels vs. the Deere/CIH is they put a bunch more wheels under the frame. If it's gonna plug, it's the mulchers or around a wheel.
