Chad, idk what the length is on the shanks or much about the deere. as far as clearance issue, you can adjust the case linkage quite a bit to increase it. the st820/flextill 600 have 4 ranks.
if you want specific answers im sure someone at flexicoil in saskatoon would be able to answer them.
