If you are on 30" rows SF1 CAN BE just fine. It will be straighter than you can plant manually. However, understand that you will not come back and autotrac spray down those rows; you can use autotrac to pull you in the right rows during spraying but it will not be good enough to use the whole time. Also, if you don't have specialty crops and only raise corn and soybeans you are going to be fine. It is a good "starting" point. You will have a 3 day demo of SF2 autotrac to use when you buy an SF1 package so you can see if it really makes that much of a difference for you. My words of advice is buy the integrated kit if you have an 8X00, 10, or 20. You will not regret it.
