| I have driven through a town several times recently on a highway with three lanes. North, south and a 3rd lane in the middle that is a turning lane. I have never seen a school bus pick up or let off a kid who would have to walk across the turning lane and opposing lane. My question is: Are drivers in the oncoming lane required to stop?
I would stop, but the highway is really busy and I would hate to cause a wreck by stopping and then finding out I wasn't supposed to since the bus was not letting students cross the turning and opposing traffic lanes. The town is Pleasant Hill Mo. The highway is US 7 if you want to look at it on Google Earth in street view. Thanks in advance. | |
