Scenerio
Pivot in middle of a bunch of dryland. Irrigated seed rate 100 lbs of spring wheat. Dryland at 70 lbs. Thirty lbs of difference. Black roller. 5.3mph. Right on the boundary of the pivot the rate would have only have to go from 70 to 100 entering the pivot. Would have to go from 100 to 70 leaving the pivot. It's no fun to seed pivot corners. On average it took 231 feet to make the complete change from 70-100 and from 100 to 70. It was a very smooth linear change. Not a huge deal. Really couldn't see it in yield map or in crop. I just wanted to make the illustration.
Rant over... moving on with my life now.
