I'm not really "slowing down" as I'll work harder doing something else at least until my health gives out (hopefully a long time). Just mostly tired of the grind / politics / travel and ready to give my job to someone younger who wants / needs it more. :-)
I have only worked this long in corporate America to keep the family with good health insurance. Once I reach 50 I can stay on the company plan with some additional costs. I may last longer than 50, but given it's two years away, just figured it's time to start making some detailed plans for the final escape. | |
