Amherst WI | Ours isn't much better.
I plow for the township and it is amazing how much less man power and equipment can keep the township roads cleaned and cut back and maintained VS the county. The township relys on part time, seasonal workers like me. You don't see the township guys sitting around a 9, 12 and 3 for their breaks and lunch time since they need to get back to their farms, busineses, or real jobs. Of course the township guys work for $12/hr or less and dont get a big benifits and retirement package that was negotiated by the unions either. | |
