Hi Jerry.  You did a very nice job on the rig above.  I think you will be pleasantly surprised come next crop season with the banded fertilizer. I also think you will like the 6000 as a side dresser, especially when we get the fertilizer all down to a full 6" deep and  covered with no open slot.

About HP, 200-225 hp (or whatever that Magnum is) on a 24 row strip till bar or 6000 bar which we are hope to run at 6 - 8 mph is a bit light, especially considering you will be pulling 12 ton of fertilizer at those speeds. Just pulling that much fertilizer around at those speeds takes some hp.

The Pluribus will take about the same hp as the 6000 is this fall.

This is an excellent setup for your rocky conditions. You did a great job with the auxilliary engine for the Montag fan. I was very pleased with the way the dry fertilizer seems to be all right at the bottom of the slot. I appreciate working with you and your Dad.
