Subject: RE: Factory made version......was wondering when?

NC
Athens has been producing this disc for over 10 years now.

at the time of it's introduction, the concept was that because of the squared off blades.......they would not create a "disc pan" like a normal blade that is always running at a constant depth. whereas the squared blade's corners where constantly in and out not producing a sheared off "disc pan".

there has been a Athens in my local area for 10 or so years now, and it looks to do a good job to me with no ridging........one really couldn't tell that a disc had been pulled if they didn't know it as it as it leaves the ground more like a field cultivator would but has no sign of shank passages. does a nice job IMO?
