Soutwest Ks.
On the Trimble FMD 1000, you have the option to either shift or skip. If you select the skip button, that AB line only stays valid as long as you are working that field. If for some reason you close that field and move to another and later come back to the original field you will find that your skipped AB line has skipped back to the original position. I think for what you are wanting to do, you will need to go into the Swaths menu, select the shift option. It will ask you how far you want to shift the line. After you enter the info it will create a new AB line with a title Shifted AB so and so many ft and inches retaining the original AB line in your menu in case you need it. Remember in Trimbles' jargon, skip is temporary, Shift is permanent. I'm on the second season with one of those units and finally connecting most of the dots together.
