Ayr Queensland Australia 4807 | We tested a 98 machine with a 400 ecu and it worked real well ,we got roused on by our Deere TAM and Cameco they went Bla Bla Bla but we then purchased more ECUs with 400 hp the machines used less fuel per ton etc the 8.1 engines fail here all the time,i wonder if Deere worked out what it is costing them in replacment engines they would fit the 12.5 and charge the extra .Its funny how things happen in old times the old tofts harvesters had big engines then they went to a 220hp komatsu engine in the first 7000 then they worked their way back up to 360 hp now they are going back down in engine size and hp i guess when the 8.1 looses sales they will fit the 12.5 |
