If anyone is interested Wikipedia has a excellent summary of Simo's service to his country. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simo_H%C3%A4yh%C3%A4 I would love to get the book "The Sniper Simo Hayha" but its $120+ price tag is a bit out of my price range.
The fact that Simo was a farmer makes his life all the more extraordinary. Simo certainly was a man for the ages.
