Thanks for the compliment. You've done well at keeping the conversation civil yourself.
Now, as to the "if 90 is good, why not 99?" question, I have two comments.
1. We are not talking about 90% tax rate on all income...only income above a certain level. I just fail to see how anyone is really hurt by raising taxes on income over, say, $4 million.
2. The world is not linear. Whether it is nitrogen fertilizer (if 100 lbs is good, why not 500 lbs?), wealth, or even beer, more is not always better, and less is not always better.
