| I love farming verses. Perhaps someday, I'll get that book finished on Bible farm verses. Lately, one that comes to mind is one from Luke 12 about an old chap that raised a bumper crop. Tore down his bins and built bigger ones so he could then eat, drink and take life easy. In most parables, usually someone else is a symbolic representation of God the Father, but in this one God Himself says "You fool! This very day your life will be demanded of you". Guess that is a good reminder for me to remember where all blessing comes from. The parable ends with "this is how it will be for everyone who stores up treasures for himself and is not rich toward God."
Not so uplifting, so I'll throw in this one - not to do with farming, but.....
Prov 12:23 The prudent keep their knowledge to themselves, but a fool's heart blurts out folly.
