Let's find a better way to be safe on a plane without giving away our essence.
Couldn't agree more. I'm not married nor do I have kids, but I think it would make my blood boil to see a TSA officer pat down my wife or little girl in the way its been described in name of security. It simply isn't right, and there should be another way. I realize that you can go through the scanners, but if the wrong guys with happy hands are at security, you or your family could be selected for a 'random screening.' If we can train german shepards to sniff out drugs in vehicles, shouldn't we be able to do the same at an airport for some common explosives?
I fly quite a bit for work and have never really felt unsafe on the plane with the standards we have now. You cant get much through security on a carry on bag and as said earlier, maybe more screening on the freight side would do more good.
