Yes we are in a good enough area, in fact we do not need a wind study for the state grant due to our location, avg wind speed is high enough not to need the study. Supposedly it is currently $300 a year for service, 5 year warranty comes with the turbine, with an extended warranty at the end of the 5 years available. The salesman says the biggest concern is the gearbox and there is a 4.1% failure rate of these. It is suppose to be a 25 year generator, with ROI at around 7 years with the grants.
