My sincere apologies for using your comment.  I did read your post and it was thoughtful as well as on point.  I only took part of what you said as an example of where we might be headed and to make the point that if we were facing the same invasions of our persons at all places it might awaken people.

It is without question that our liberties have been eroded by terrorist and drug pushers/users.  But they are just an excuse.  As was pointed out the Israelis don't do all this foolishness and they haven't had any planes blown up.

Remember in Omaha where a gunman killed 8 people.  There might be camera's but that does nothing to deter anyone bent on a suicide mission.  Those searches at a stadium are not the same as the TSA does.  

It is frightening what could be done by a knowledgeable person who has lived their life in America.  My wife and I have talked about some possible things that just scare the heck out of us.  The possible terrorist attacks so far have been relatively unsuccessful because they are ignorant of our culture or they have been uneducated.

Once again my apologies, I've read most if not all your comments and I don't recall ever thinking you were wrong.

One final thought regarding the uselessness of those porn-o-scopes, they are supposed to only see what is on the outside of the body.  Recently some dogs were found to have been filled with explosives.  They job was so poorly done that it was discovered, however foreign objects placed inside a body will not show up.  leading to this site; http://www.well.com/~cynsa/newbutt.html
