Southern Highlands of Tanzania, East Africa | Just thought I would add-here in Tanzania we have zinc deficiences. We have applied Zinc Sulphate with our other basal fertilizer at 20kg/ha annually for the last 4 years. We did this to get awy from using foliar feed thinking we would cure the issue this way. Well, time has passed and I ran an experiment to see if we could see a difference on the Insight yield monitor. The result was 500kg/ha more soyas on 10ha applied against unapplied 10ha. The product I used was ZINTRAC made by Phosyn which is sold through YARA here. We were happy about this as it gave us a 20% yield bump and gave me a smile to have invested in the yield monitor. |
