Lorenzo, tx | My dad got me started farming, i still use some of his equipment but have been bying my own as i have money for the few years. im not embarassed to say so either. yes i use daddys equipment. yes he helped me get goin by leasing me, land letting me borrow tractors ect. but he hasnt cosigned anything for me or had to loan me money. everything with my name on it has been earned. And MO im sure your the same way youve worked for everything you have. i also look at it as a responsibility, my dad has built this "company" for lack of a better word, and he thinks enough of me to trust me with it someday? ill have to buy him out, but its ME thats getting the chance to buy it. i think its an honor that my dad thinks enough of me that some day he wont mind me taking over. and im sure your dad is the same way, or he would not have let you be apart of the family farm. be proud that you have a family farm to be apart of. | |
